Our Island Mauritius

Mauritius is a Tropical Island with two seasons, SUMMER and WINTER, situated in the Indian Ocean near Reunion Island and Madagascar, Mauritius is a hub for various Business of import and export, its key local resources are the tourism, textile, sugar cane and IT. Mauritius get its independence in 1968 and became Republic in 1992.

The island is well known for its natural beauty and of course the legendary bird DODO.Mauritius is a fast developing Island mainly in Hotels and IT business, with it white and sandy beaches tourist always say its Paradise ISLAND.

Well this blog is also for my brothers and sisters who are living and studing in other countries.Mauritius have 9 Districts, they are Black River, Flacq, Grand Port, Moka, Pamplemousses, Port Louis, Plaines Wilhems, Riviere du Rempart, Savanne and Rodrigues is an island of Mauritius.

The most widely-spoken language of the country is Maurtian Creole and our national language is English but speak French fluently and some talk also Hindi, urdu, chinese, tamil and bhojpuri. Mauritius has a very high advantage of its multi Regilions and culturals in the Indian Ocean and thats why people like to come to Mauritius.....

Flamboyant Tree


Also Know as the Delonix Regia the Flamboyant tree when its
Blossoms is announce the coming of the New Year Ends, like
its in Decembre in Mauritius, very street and location is Vivid
RED and green, you can found these trees mostly in the costal
and North part of the Island..the plant is known also as Royal
Poinciana in certain Island and country like Madagascar!!
This Flower is used as decoration in most local End of Year
parties and Program. Here is a close up picture of this Lovely
Flower!!
