Our Island Mauritius - Notre Ile Maurice

Mauritius is a Tropical Island with two seasons, SUMMER and WINTER, situated in the Indian Ocean near Reunion Island and Madagascar, Mauritius is a hub for various Business of import and export, its key local resources are the tourism, textile, sugar cane and IT. Mauritius get its independence in 1968 and became Republic in 1992.

The island is well known for its natural beauty and of course the legendary bird DODO.Mauritius is a fast developing Island mainly in Hotels and IT business, with it white and sandy beaches tourist always say its Paradise ISLAND.

Well this blog is also for my brothers and sisters who are living and studing in other countries.Mauritius have 9 Districts, they are Black River, Flacq, Grand Port, Moka, Pamplemousses, Port Louis, Plaines Wilhems, Riviere du Rempart, Savanne and Rodrigues is an island of Mauritius.

The most widely-spoken language of the country is Maurtian Creole and our national language is English but speak French fluently and some talk also Hindi, urdu, chinese, tamil and bhojpuri. Mauritius has a very high advantage of its multi Regilions and culturals in the Indian Ocean and thats why people like to come to Mauritius.....

My Mazda 323 Astina !!!

Hi Friends...First Let me wish you all a HAPPY NEW 2009, Ya its after a long time that am posting here, because I was very busy working and there was too much Parties , but there is lots of new photos waiting!! But this is an OFF TOPIC post...I recently buy this MAZDA 323 ASTINA car, its a little bit old but its very Sporty....I have just replace its original rims 13" to 15" Rims and had new audio player with CD, Mp3, subwoofer and amplifier, its a full option car with popup head ligths and put some decal on it like NITROSPORT and of course my blog web address.....I wanted to share this little joy with you friends, do comment on this post I want to know if you like it or not.....and see you soon BYE

Nenuphar Aquatic Pond

This is a very popular pond at Pamplemouses Graden,..(SSR Garden)..its the famous NENUPHAR Aquatic Plant also call the Victoria Amazonica, these plants are very special in the garden, with its large colourful blow like leaf shapes and an amazing flower like the LOTUS...will surely attract your eye...and as me you will say WOOOW after looking at it..., This plant is an annual tropical plant and grows very well during the summer season with an average temperature of 30 C, so better to have a visit in the summer..So that was a little on this amazing aquctic plant...and keep watching there is a lot of other posts on the SSR Garden coming next week....bye take care

Colonial House

This is very old Colonial house at the Pamplemouses garden, it is known as Chateau de Mon Plaisir..(My Pleasure).This was build in the year when Mahe de Labourdonnais was the Governer of Mauritius Island...Its a must to have a visit to this beautiful house, its is now maintain by the Botanical Garden member...

Spider Collection

As the Scorpions the SPIDER also are in the same family the Arthropods, some are venomous, Spider are very famous in many movies and Novels , there are about 40,000 species of spider in this world some can found in MAURITIUS ISLAND also,.....they are good architec for building nice web.....( Not website of course), so that was a tour at the La vanille Crocodile Park, Hope you have enjoy the tour with me, so see you soon for new post, keep wactching...bye
